Lahmajo is an Armenian "pizza" that captivates with its simplicity and rich taste. A thin cake of dough is covered with a layer of minced meat, tomatoes, onions and aromatic spices, and then baked until crisp. For the dough: kefir (matzoni) – 250 ml wheat flour – 400-450 g salt – 0.5 tsp.
For the filling: minced meat – 400 g (lamb + pork) onion – 2 pcs. herbs – 1 bunch (basil, dill, parsley, coriander) garlic – 4 teeth. red bell pepper – 1 pc. hot pepper – 1/2 pod or more tomato paste – 2 tbsp. l. or chopped tomatoes without skin salt – 0.5 tsp. ground black pepper – to taste
